ABOUT

Founded in 2004 by François Duplat, Producer and managed by Jacques-François Suzzoni, BelAir Classiques is a French video label subsidiary of the production company Bel Air Media. BelAir Classiques is one of the few independent video label releasing audiovisual productions of classical music programs on DVD and Blu-ray (operas, ballets, concerts and theatre), as well as movies or documentaries.

Bel Air Classiques' aim is to release a very high levelled artistic material, in association with the greatest European Opera Houses as the Opéra national de Paris, the Grand Théâtre de Genève, the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, the Bolshoi Theatre, the Zurich Opera House, the Mariinsky Theatre, the Royal Swedish Opera, the Berliner Staatsoper, the Bayerische Staatsoper, the Théâtre royal de la Monnaie, the Teatro Real (Madrid), or world reputed festivals like Aix-en-Provence or the Arena di Verona.

Proud of its extremely high artistic standards, Bel Air Classiques releases in DVDs And Blu-rays works of the most significant artists of our time: stage directors Peter Brook, Luc Bondy, Olivier Py, André Engel, Peter Mussbach, Krzysztof Warlikowski, Dmitri Tcherniakov, Romeo Castellucci, Laurent Pelly and Patrice Chéreau, choreographers Pina Bausch, Roland Petit, Bill T.
